Accessible self-catering cottages in Wexford

We are delighted to accommodate and welcome guests who have a disability or mobility issues, including wheelchair users and the older generation. Kilmore Cottage is proud to have been awarded the ABLE Tourism Award, the Q mark for accessibility in a tourism business, reflecting our commitment to providing holidays for those with disability. We have been providing holidays for the disabled since 2000, and are pleased to assist with our practical experience of accessible holidays in Ireland.

Equipment Hire

For anything beyond what we provide, such as a hoist or a hospital bed, here are two companies our guests have used before. This isn’t something we have expertise in ourselves, so please check directly with the rental company that their equipment suits your needs. We’re happy to facilitate delivery before you arrive and collection after you leave.

Note that if you hire a hoist from Mobility Direct for Kilmore Cottage (the 3 bedroom cottage), it should be about 4ft 5in / 135cm or less wide to get over the door saddle

Equipment Hire

The best person to decide if our cottages will suit you is you. We understand it can be difficult to make a holiday choice, particularly if one or more guests have a disability, so we’re happy to discuss your individual requirements: for care home service users and carers, families where an adult or child has a disability, couples where one partner has a disability, wheelchair users, and guests who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind or visually impaired.
